Troubleshooting Procedures

Login / Patch Connection

Result :


If Result displays "Success", you may move on to Procedure B.
If Result displays "Failed", please continue with this Procedure A.


A. Check hosts File

Host file of your PC may be abnormally altered by some applications.

For recovery, please try the following:

Windows Vista, 7

  • 1. Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories
  • 2. Right-click Notepad and select "Run as administrator".
  • 3. Click Continue on the "Windows needs your permission" UAC window.
  • 4. When Notepad opens, click File -> Open
  • 5. In the filename field, type C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
  • 6. Click Open

Windows NT/2000/XP

  • 1. Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Notepad
  • 2. Click File -> Open
  • 3. In the filename field, type C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
  • 4. Click Open


After opening Notepad, there will be a line such as :
127.0.0.1 login.playrohan.com - Delete this line And delete any other lines written as 'playrohan.com' on there. Do not forget to save the file before closing it.

B. Recovery File
After Procedure A, we recommend that you run Loader.exe in the Rohan folder to recover automatically.
If you continue to have trouble with the Launcher after receiving a "Success" result in Procedure A, you may download the Recovery File for your client.
English Client
After downloading the appropriate Recovery File, please unzip and overwrite files from it to the folder your Rohan client is installed in.

If you continue to have problems after Procedure A and B, we strongly recommend you to download the full client from the download menu.
